I had some miso-roasted vegetables leftover from last night, but not enough for a full meal. So I used it as a flavor base for something new. I boiled the leftovers in water with broccoli, corn, garlic, Seasoned Salt, and Tabasco. When everything was soft I pureed it with a stick blender. The result was a spicy, warming, sinus-clearing, and invigorating green soup. I garnished it with linseeds and chilli oil. The bowl grew steadily more intense with each spoonful, as the heat from the chilli and garlic built up. It was a delicious, healthy lunch, and with a few pieces of good bread, it would make a great dinner, too.
