#Cornography Day 67: Corn with Kumamoto Ramen Furikake

Kumamoto ramen is my favourite ramen. It’s like Hakata ramen, but with the addition of fried garlic chips. It is one of the rare foods I would happily eat even when I’m not at all hungry. So I was thrilled to find Kumamoto ramen furikake at a ¥100 shop in Tokyo. Unfortunately, it performs poorly in delivering real Kumamoto ramen flavor, mostly tasting of seaweed and sesame. It was an adequate, but not satisfactory, seasoning for tonight’s corn.
